Julep Nail Polish in Shenae, Teri, Simone - Photos, Review, Swatches

Here are some Julep polishes that were in my Maven box a couple months back, and they happen to be the exact kind of soft, feminine shades I'm in the mood for these days!

Shenae, a cool, pale mint with silver shimmer (can you see it?) -

Teri, pastel lavender with fuchsia shimmer. Again, hard to tell, but it's there! -

Simone, an orange coral cream -

Very pretty colors, remind me of flower petals! Through my Maven subscription I've been able to test quite a few Julep polishes and they've all been solid. Good coverage and opacity. My one minor quibble is that the long, thin shape of the bottle and high center of gravity makes knocking it over easy... might just be my own clumsiness, though ;)

Julep Nail Polishes in Lauren, Claire - Swatches, Review, Photos

Two Julep polishes today! I've been collecting these from the awesome monthly Julep Maven box (seriously - which other subscription service allows you to change the items assigned to you, skip months without penalty, and add items at a discounted price?), but have kept them sadly underused. That doesn't make them any less lovely, however!

Lauren, a bright pink fuchsia with a semi-matte/rubbery finish:

Claire, a creamy and bright sky blue:

The formula on both of these is smooth and even. Great, vibrant colors, and I love the finish on Lauren! The bottle is a bit awkward, though; I keep thinking I'm going to knock it over!

Fourth of July Manicure (Oh, and I'm back!)

Back from a hiatus! Thanks for your patience - Life took a hectic turn a couple months back, but I feel I'm in the position to get back to providing you with all things pretty and shiny (hopefully!). Let's kick things off with my Fourth of July manicure:

It's looking rough because A.  it's nearly a week old, and B. I put my hands through the grinder (figuratively) daily at work and because of rock climbing. The accent nail is one coat of Zoya's Delilah under two coats of Julep's America, a gorgeously patriotic red, blue, and silver glitter. The rest of my nails feature nail wraps from Incoco. They are super easy to apply and I've experienced them lasting two weeks with minimal wear.
